Tyson McGuffin Pickleball Clinic a Success at Palmas

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Tyson McGuffin, Meg McGuffin, and their amazing team for hosting an unforgettable pickleball clinic at Palmas Pickleball Resort in Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This unique camp not only offered world-class pickleball training but also gave all the pickleball players an opportunity to experience the beautiful fusion of family adventure, personal growth, and community building.

The McGuffins have truly set the bar when it comes to blending the intensity of top-tier pickleball coaching with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel like part of the family. From the moment they arrived in Los Barriles, it was clear that this wasn’t just a sports camp—it was an experience designed to create lasting memories.

The training sessions with Tyson and his expert team were insightful and challenging. We saw firsthand how Tyson’s focus on refining techniques—such as mastering the serve and third shot—made a tangible impact on the students game. The practical tips, like keeping consistency in every zone and focusing on 2-3 key shots, will stay with the clinic participants long after the camp has ended. It was clear that Tyson’s goal was not just to improve skills, but to help integrate the lessons into everyday play for long-term success.

But it wasn’t just about pickleball! Meg’s seamless organization kept everything running smoothly, from taking care of errands to ensuring that every participant felt comfortable and well-cared for. The McGuffins truly went above and beyond to ensure that the entire camp experience was nothing short of amazing.

Evenings were filled with community dinners, like the wonderful meal at Lily’s, where everyone came together to share stories, laughs, and, of course, delicious food.

The Tyson McGuffin Pickleball Clinic also had its moments of surprise and joy, such as when the group surprised Tyson with a heartfelt birthday celebration—blending personal milestones with the shared passion for pickleball and adventure.
